What is an AVIF file?

A newer picture format that websites use because it is small. Many apps, older phones and upload forms can't open it yet; JPG works everywhere.

The picture doesn't open here. Why?

Opening AVIF needs a recent browser: Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a phone or computer from the last few years. Update the browser and try again.

Is it free? Are my pictures uploaded?
