Questions

Will the PNG have a see-through background?

No. A JPG has no see-through parts, so the PNG looks exactly the same, background included. To cut the background out, use the Sitey app's background remover.

Why is the PNG bigger than the JPG?

PNG keeps every pixel without compression loss, so photos take more space. Use PNG when an app asks for it; for sending and forms JPG is better.

Is it free? Are my pictures uploaded?

Free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Nothing is uploaded: the pictures are converted inside your browser, on your own phone or computer.
