PNG or JPG: which should I pick?

PNG keeps text, lines, tables and signatures perfectly sharp, with no blur around letters, so it suits documents, slides and screenshots. JPG files are smaller and suit pages that are mostly photos. For JPG use PDF to JPG.

Is it free? Is my PDF uploaded?

Free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit. Nothing is uploaded: the pages are drawn as pictures inside your browser, on your own phone or computer.

How big are the PNG files?

A page of text at Normal is often under 100 KB, but a page full of photos can be a few MB, because PNG keeps every pixel. If a form wants a small file, use PDF to JPG or resize the picture after.
