What happens to a transparent PNG?

Transparent parts become white in the PDF, the way they look when printed, so a logo or a signature on a clear background comes out on a clean white page.

Can I put screenshots into one PDF?

Yes. Phone screenshots are PNG files: choose them all, set the order, and pick Same as the picture so each long screenshot stays one full page.

Is it free? Are my pictures uploaded?
