Opening a shop and stuck on the name? Sitey's free shop name ideas page writes eight names in Urdu, Roman Urdu or English from one line about what you sell and where. Here is a real run, and how to pick one.

A real run: a kiryana store in Faisalabad

We typed A kiryana general store in Faisalabad, picked Roman Urdu and got eight names in about 10 seconds. The first four:

The shop name ideas page with four Roman Urdu names for a kiryana store in Faisalabad: Faisal Kiryana Store, Sabzi Mandi Kiryana, Aap ki Dukaan Kiryana, Lyallpur Kiryana House
A real result, unedited, 31 October 2026.

The other four: Roshan Kiryana Store, Bazar Kiryana Corner, Dastgir Kiryana Store and Shahbaz Kiryana Mart. Each name comes with a short tagline and one line on why it fits.

What makes a good shop name

  • Easy to say and to spell, in Urdu and in English letters.
  • It says what you sell: Kiryana, Boutique, Bakery, Dhaba.
  • It belongs to your place: Lyallpur is Faisalabad's old name, so Lyallpur Kiryana House sounds local.
  • Short enough for a board, a WhatsApp profile and a Google listing.

Five checks before you paint the board

  1. Search the name on Google Maps around your area: no shop nearby should already use it.
  2. Say it to a few customers. Can they type it on WhatsApp?
  3. Write it in Urdu script too, and see that it still reads well.
  4. Use the same name on the board, the visiting card and Google. Google's rules say your Business Profile name must be the name on your storefront.
  5. Keep the tagline on the board, not in your Google name: Google does not allow taglines, phone numbers or product lists there.

How to do it, step by step

  1. Open the shop name ideas page.
  2. Pick an Example, or write what you sell, the city, and a family name or word you like.
  3. Choose Urdu, Roman Urdu or English, then tap Suggest names.
  4. Tap Copy or Send on WhatsApp to ask your family.

The limits, plainly

  • Free to try on the website; the Sitey app gives 15 a day.
  • AI can get things wrong: it cannot know which names shops near you already use, so do the Google Maps check.
